We have mlmmj list but while we are trying to subscribe the list we noticed that a user can subscribe the list multiple times
You can try to subscribe with same email address multiple times to firstname.lastname@example.org address and it will send back the confirmation email again and again.
After first subscription process, it needs to return a message that implies the user already subscribed the list.
After first subscription process, The list sends the confirmation email every time you send an email to subscription address.

( my use case for mlmmj is "alias one address to several addresses", subscribe and unsubscribe is done by admin )
I wonder if the duplicate user subscribions result in duplicate addresses in the backend.
@sinanulker386 reporter of the bug or others who read this:
Are there duplicate addresses in backend?
Who sees sending (resending??) subscribe confirm upon subscribe request as a nice feature
Yes, the duplicate user subscriptions result in duplicate addresses in the back-end.
For example below is the subscription list on my back-end after I subscribe it 5 times with the same email address:
/var/spool/mlmmj# cat /var/spool/mlmmj/sohbet/subscribers.d/u
For my previous comment it was 4 times. I mistyped 4 as 5.
Persons who did subscribe multiplie times,
do they also get multiple copies of mailinglist postings?
Upon unsubscribe: Are multiple unsubscribe actions needed?
